WeSellFans is a Chicago industrial ventilation distributor that sells fans, air curtains, make-up air units, and dust collection equipment to manufacturers, body shops, and facilities across the US.
They needed a way to capture paint booth buyers at the top of the funnel, before those buyers started calling around for quotes. We built them a calculator that does that on autopilot.
CHALLENGE
Buyers planning paint booth ventilation had no easy way to size the right fan. Most were doing the math wrong. Some weren't doing it at all. WeSellFans was answering the same sizing questions over the phone every day.
The sales team could handle the call volume, but phone-based sizing doesn't scale and doesn't capture buyers who research online before they ever dial. The calculator problem was really a lead capture problem.
SOLUTION
We built a 5-configuration paint booth CFM calculator that handles every common booth type, with inputs for filter condition, spray method, and fan type. The calculator lives inside a technical reference guide that earns the page organic rankings.
The result is a self-service sizing tool that qualifies buyers by having them spec their own system, then routes them to a quote request. It generates leads around the clock with zero added sales effort.
